We've Never Been So Excited to See Tech That Disables Ours - Go CHAMP!

We never thought we'd write a post like this but Boeing has really wowed us. Their new Counter-Electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP)has made history, providing a non-kinetic alternative to existing missile technology and providing to be a win for the whole EMS community.

"This technology marks a new era in modern-day warfare," said Keith Coleman, CHAMP program manager for Boeing Phantom Works. "In the near future, this technology may be used to render an enemy’s electronic and data systems useless even before the first troops or aircraft arrive."

Yes, that includes COM, and the tech that records it, like our own Voxida DVRS for defense applications. And we couldn't be happier. Imagine a conflict with minimal casualties and collateral damage. We'll take it, even if that means that a Voxida DVRS takes a day off. We're kidding, of course, as our systems stay with the folks that will likely fire, not receive, said missile. Why We're All About the Youngsters at the AOC Show

Our CMO, Kate Haley, is quoted by the Association of Old Crows in this article about the AOC International Symposium on Arming the Spectrum Warrior. We will be supporting her efforts to-- how did she put it?-- bring in the youngsters.

United States Air Force Fighter Gap: CBO Report Released

Yep, it's true: We may be light on Fighters. The United States Air Force, like the Navy and Marine Corps, is keen on landing the newest models. Over the next 25 years, that is. Meanwhile, the current fighter aircraft are thinking about their golden years of blissful retirement.
